Medical Physics Club envisions a physics-oriented group of DUCOM students to explore applications of physics such as in different medical specialties, from the various imaging modalities in radiology to the linear accelerators of radiation oncology and the radioactive isotopes used in nuclear medicine. We aim to enrich our academic experience by reading a weekly physics publication, emphasizing the physics element as opposed to the clinical medicine perspective for publications on the intersection between physics and health, before discussing it over a weekly lunch.
