An organization that will meet to debate current and/or controversial medical topics such as cochlear implants, mandatory vaccinations, and genetic disease screenings. It will be a great way to engage students, learn about various arguments in the medical field, and discuss how to start a dialogue with patients who may have a view that opposes your own.

Students will have time to construct an argument and formulate counter-arguments. This will be an excellent way to convey elements about logic and rhetoric that students don’t necessarily get exposed to throughout our medical school education.
