Applied Nutrition Cooking Demonstration & Discussion

The Preventative Medicine Interest Group (PMIG) and Society Wellness Reps are excited to announce that NEXT WEEK we will be co-hosting a lunchtime cooking demonstration & applied nutrition discussion with Katie Cavuto, registered dietitian and chef!    We all took the nutrition course during the first year of medical school but how does it apply to the actual practice of medicine? Come learn about ways that you can integrate advice on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices into your day-to-day practice as a physician!   Katie Cavuto speaks to audiences around the world about mindfulness, the importance of using whole food ingredients and developing a positive relationship with food. She was on the Next Food Network Star and has been featured on ABC, FOX, NBC and CBS. She is also the dietitian for the Philadelphia Phillie’s and Flyers. Feel free to check out her website!
