The Addiction Medicine Interest Group (AMIGOS) is having its first meeting on October 20th from 5-6pm in A1. We will be talking briefly about some plans for the year and getting any ideas that you guys might have for the group. We will also get to hear from our faculty advisor Dr. Barbara Schindler about her program ‘Working Together for Women,’ an outpatient treatment program for women with substance use disorders who are re-entering society, usually after incarceration (to learn more about her program, visit http://www.drexelmedicine.org/patient-services/psychiatry/working-together-for-women/).
