We’re excited to announce that next week we will be having our first event featuring Dr. Barbara Schindler, a DUCOM faculty member and addiction specialist. Dr. Schindler specializes in treating addicted women. She will be speaking about her program, ‘Working Together for Women,’ which is a recovery focused treatment program for addicted women re-entering society after incarceration. Additionally, Dr. Schindler will be bringing a peer specialist with her, so you will get to hear from a former patient who now helps her peers with the process.
