2nd annual Medtalks@Drexel

Medtalks is a two-hour long TED Talk style mini-conference featuring a variety of speakers discussing topics including (but not limited to) pharmacology, public health, technology, humanities in medicine, and mental health. Our overall theme this year is ‘Innovation’, be it recent advances in medical technology or historical innovations that paved the way for our current work. Distinguished speakers include Pennsylvania’s Physician General Dr. Levine, and the man who cured Hepatitis C, Dr. Michael Sofia. Students from Philadelphia’s medical schools will also be presenting their research.
